Fox Performance Series 36 SL Suspension Fork Description:
The Fox Performance Series 36 SL Suspension Fork packs incredible performance and precision at a price that leaves room in the budget for park passes and other bike upgrades. A sculpted large bore fork crown and tapered aluminum steerer tube mate up to 36mm diameter stanchions to add considerable torsional stiffness, and those stanchions feature a hard black anodized finish that fights off wear and tear while providing a slick surface for the lowers to slide on. Speaking of the lowers, they feature low friction seals, a very large bushing overlap, and a skeletonized wrap around brake arch do their part in adding torsional stiffness, and as a bonus there is plenty of room under the arch and between the legs for 2.6" wide tires (and potentially wider depending on the tire, tread pattern, and inner rim width).
Inside of the robust and surprisingly lightweight chassis are advanced internals that share much of their design and construction with Fox Factory Series suspension forks. A large volume FLOAT EVOL Glidecore air spring has been engineered to move with a fork under dynamic load; large cross section O-rings dampen and control this motion to eliminate any weird noises or play, and they also aid in reducing the amount of breakaway force required to actuate the spring for a buttery smooth suspension actuation. A 3 position dial on top of the fork crown fine tunes the compression damping within the Grip damper on the fly, allowing the rider to optimize the fork performance for riding uphill, downhill, and anywhere in between. Finally, an external rebound adjustment knob can quickly dial in the forks responsiveness to impacts so a rider can confidently and rapidly get back to having fun on the trails.

- Rebound adjustment knob with 10 clicks dials in how fast a fork bounces back from an impact to match a riders preferences
