Fox Performance Elite 34 SL Suspension Fork Description:
The Performance Elite Fox 34 SL Suspension Fork has packed unprecedented capability and performance into a lightweight XC racing fork chassis. Fox wrapped the sculpted arch around the lowers resulting in robust torsional stiffness, and a highly machined 7000 series aluminum crown with a large internal bore further boosts stiffness while shaving as many grams as possible. Fox put a black hard anodized finish on the 7000 series aluminum alloy stanchions and combined that slippery finish with increased bushing overlap in order to minimize stiction and improve small bump capability, especially when battling off camber bumps and other technical terrain.
Stuffed inside of this incredible chassis is the Grip SL damper, and this lightweight damper has been specifically designed to maximize the performance of shorter travel forks. Despite its light weight, this damper still has three on-the-fly compression damping positions as well as a low speed rebound adjustment knob with 17 positions/clicks, and this fork can be locked out when sprinting or charging hard uphill (there is a blowoff function if a hard impact is encountered to prevent damage to the fork). Add in the ability to fit up to a 2.5" wide tire, and this versatile and lightweight fork will make any short travel racing or trail mountain bike more capable than ever before.
