The Fizik Tempo Overcurve R4 Road Shoes are high performing and comfortable cycling shoes that are as equally at home on weekend group rides as they are taking on ultra long cycling adventures. The uppers of these shoes feature an asymmetric pattern that are designed to follow the natural shape of the foot for optimal pressure distribution and to minimize potential hot spots, and the use of a polyurethane and mesh laminate construction ensures the uppers offer the support and breathability necessary for incredible performance and comfort throughout the shoes lifespan. Attached to these uppers is a well-ventilated sole plate that is moderately stiff with cleat mount holes that are positioned slightly towards the heel of the shoe (when compared to the traditional cleat mount placement), which can lead to less knee and foot discomfort especially when sprinting or riding in a forward aerodynamic position. Tying everything together are single micro adjustable BOA cable retention systems for each shoe that will evenly distribute the tension over the length of the shoe, and these BOA systems can be quickly adjusted on the fly so the legs and feet will feel great when tackling longer days in the saddle.
